Woman From India Breaks Record for Having “Too Many Teeth”
In a world where people are praised for their academic achievements, sportsmanship, and artistic talents, one woman from India is making headlines for something quite unique: having an insane number of teeth in her mouth.
Shanti Rani, a 26-year-old shy and humble woman from a small village in India, was recently awarded the Guinness World Record for having the most number of teeth in her mouth. The record, previously held by an American man with 37 teeth, was broken when Rani’s dentist discovered she had 38 fully grown teeth in her mouth.
“I never thought my excessive dental condition would bring me so much fame,” said Rani, as she shied away from the cameras that were flashing in her face. “I always thought my dentist was exaggerating when he said I have more teeth than average people, but I guess he was right.”
According to Rani’s dentist, her condition is called hyperdontia, a rare genetic disorder that causes a person to have extra teeth. While some people with this condition may have a few extra teeth, it is extremely rare to have more than 30 teeth in one’s mouth.
Despite Rani’s record-breaking achievement, opinions on the matter have been divided. While some people are envious of Rani’s extra set of pearly whites, others deem her condition as “gross” and “creepy”.
“It’s just not natural to have that many teeth,” commented a dental expert. “It’s like having double the amount of toes or fingers. It’s just too much.”
Rani, however, is not letting the naysayers bring her down. She sees her condition as a blessing, claiming that having more teeth allows her to eat more efficiently than others. “I can eat my food faster than anyone I know,” she proudly said.
The news of Rani’s record-breaking achievement has also sparked some hilarious memes and jokes on social media. One Twitter user commented, “Looks like I have to up my toothbrush game,” while another joked, “I bet her visits to the dentist cost her an arm and a leg… literally.”
Despite the humor and criticism surrounding Rani’s dental condition, she is grateful for the attention it has brought her. “I hope my achievement will inspire others to embrace their quirks and imperfections,” she stated. “I may have too many teeth, but I also have a big heart and a lot of love to give.”
