Washington Man Continues to Strike it Rich at Local Convenience Store
In what can only be described as a miraculous stroke of luck, a man from Washington has won yet another lottery prize at the same convenience store where he previously won big. The man, who wished to remain anonymous because apparently being a repeat lottery winner isn’t enough attention for him, stopped for a refreshing iced tea before deciding to throw caution to the wind and buy a lottery ticket.
“I was feeling a little parched and thought, why not chance it on a scratch-off ticket while I’m at it?” the man said in a statement. “Turns out it was a pretty good decision.”
That’s an understatement if we’ve ever heard one. The man ended up winning a whopping $500,000, which is a lot of iced tea if you ask us. This is the third time the man has won at this particular store, previously taking home $10,000 and $1,000 in separate instances.
We reached out to the store manager for comment, and they simply said, “I don’t know what kind of juju this guy has, but I wish he would share some of it with me.”
The odds of winning the lottery are already so slim that it’s almost laughable, but for one person to win three times at the same location is just downright suspicious. We have a feeling the man might be in cahoots with the convenience store employees to rig the system. Or maybe he’s just really, really lucky. Either way, we’ll be making a pit stop at that store on our next road trip.
The man reportedly plans to use the money to buy a yacht, which seems like a logical purchase for someone who has won the lottery multiple times. We just hope he remembers that yacht ownership comes with a whole new set of problems, like figuring out how to port it and getting seasick.
We can’t help but wonder what the convenience store employees must be thinking every time this guy walks through their doors. “Here comes Mr. Lucky Pants again,” they probably say to each other in hushed tones.
