Local boat tour company, “Sunny Seas Boat Adventures,” had an unexpected surprise on their latest whale watching excursion. Passengers were allegedly “treated” to a three-hour visit from a pair of humpback whales.

Several passengers reported feeling “honored” to be in the presence of the majestic creatures. Others, however, were less thrilled. “I paid good money for this tour and all I got was a couple of giant fish swimming around our boat,” complained one disgruntled customer.

Despite the lack of enthusiasm from some, the crew of the Sunny Seas were ecstatic about the visit. “We’ve been doing these tours for years and I’ve never seen anything like it!” exclaimed Captain Sunny Johnson. “It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

The whales, who were identified as “Barbara” and “Gary”, reportedly swam around the boat for hours, seemingly uninterested in the group of gawking tourists. “It was like they were showing off or something,” said one impressed passenger. “They just kept swimming back and forth under the boat, like they knew everyone was watching.”

However, not everyone was thrilled about the impromptu nature show. Some passengers were reportedly seasick from the constant rocking of the boat caused by the humpbacks’ movements. “I didn’t sign up for this kind of ride,” complained one passenger. “I just wanted to see some whales from a safe distance.”

The experience was not without danger either. At one point, Gary got a little too close for comfort and nearly capsized the boat. “I thought we were gonna be in the water with those giant things,” recounted one shaken passenger. “It was like Jaws, but bigger.”

Despite the potential danger, the crew maintained that the visit was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. “I’ll never forget the looks on those whale’s faces as they circled our boat,” said Captain Johnson, misty-eyed. “It was like they were saying ‘hello’ to us.”

The Sunny Seas tour company is now considering offering “special encounters” with Barbara and Gary for an increased fee. “We’ve discovered a whole new revenue stream,” said a business-savvy crew member. “Who needs Disneyland when you can have a couple of giant sea creatures swim around your boat for hours?”

It remains to be seen whether this whale encounter will become a regular occurrence for the Sunny Seas tours, or if Barbara and Gary will find new unsuspecting tourists to terrorize. One thing is for sure, however – the customers got more than they bargained for on this particular trip.
