Indianapolis, Indiana – A monkey has been reportedly spotted drinking beer in various locations throughout the city of Indianapolis. The monkey has been on the loose and causing havoc, leaving residents scratching their heads in confusion.
According to eyewitnesses, the monkey was seen at a local bar, downing a cold one like a pro. The bartender was quoted saying, “I’ve seen some things in my time, but a monkey drinking beer is definitely a first.”
But that wasn’t the only sighting of the pesky primate. The monkey was also seen walking through a nearby park, carrying an entire case of beer on its back. It is unclear how the monkey acquired the alcohol, but some are speculating that it may have stolen it from a nearby liquor store.
The authorities have been notified of the monkey’s antics, but so far they have been unable to capture it. “We’ve received numerous calls about the monkey, but every time we get close, it disappears into the trees,” said Officer Smith.
Residents are concerned for their safety, as they are unsure of the monkey’s intentions. “I don’t know what that monkey is capable of. It could attack us at any moment,” said local resident, Karen.
In response to the monkey’s behavior, some residents have taken matters into their own hands. “I’ve set up a trap in my backyard to catch the monkey. I’m not going to let it roam free and cause chaos,” said another local resident, David.
Animal control has also been called in to assist with the situation. “We’re doing everything we can to capture the monkey and return it to its rightful owner,” said the head of animal control, John.
The monkey’s owner has not yet come forward to claim the animal, leaving many to wonder how it got loose in the first place. “It’s a mystery how the monkey got out. Maybe someone let it loose as a prank or something,” said Karen.
While the monkey’s behavior may seem amusing to some, it is important to remember that wild animals can be dangerous and should not be approached. If you see the monkey, it is recommended that you keep your distance and call the authorities.
In the meantime, the monkey continues to roam free, leaving a trail of empty beer cans in its wake. It seems as though this mischievous primate is here to stay, at least for now.
