Recently, a self-proclaimed nature enthusiast was lucky enough to witness a cobra in the act of devouring a puff adder, right in the middle of a road. But wait, it gets even more thrilling – the puff adder was still alive while being ingested by its predator. How exciting!
Our daring adventurer, armed with a camera instead of actual survival skills, captured the whole incident on tape and promptly shared it with the internet. Because, let’s face it, what could be more entertaining than watching one animal committing cannibalism while another one is still alive and wriggling in its mouth?
The video, which has since gone viral, shows the cobra slowly swallowing the puff adder, inch by inch, while the poor creature is still moving and desperately trying to escape. This is what nature is all about, folks – survival of the fittest, even if it means eating your own kind.
