According to witnesses, the deer had clumsily stumbled into the fenced-off pool area and was unable to escape on its own. The poor creature was left to frantically paddle around until it was spotted by the eagle-eyed homeowners.
Naturally, the neighbors immediately sprang into action, calling the authorities and donning their finest Animal Planet attire. By this point, the deer had managed to cling onto the side of the pool, looking forlorn and helpless as it waited for help to arrive.
Luckily for the furry critter, a team of experienced animal rescuers were able to make their way to the scene in record time. After several failed attempts to coax the deer out of the water, the team had to resort to good old-fashioned muscle.
