“When Office Chairs Fly: Utah Family’s Windshield Takes a Beating”

It seems that the skies are more dangerous than ever these days, as even office chairs are taking flight. A Utah family found themselves on the receiving end of a high-flying seat when the base of an office chair came crashing through their windshield while they were driving on the highway. Talk about a workplace hazard.

According to reports, the family’s dashboard camera captured the entire incident. At first, everything seemed like a typical day on the road. The family was just cruising along, minding their own business, when suddenly they heard a loud crash. Imagine their shock when they looked up and saw a chair leg sticking through their windshield like something out of an action movie.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident, though it’s safe to say that the windshield sustained some serious damage. The video shows the family pulling over to the side of the highway to assess the situation. The chair appears to have come from a vehicle in the lane next to them, although the driver responsible is currently unknown.

We reached out to expert sources in the office furniture industry to get their take on the matter. One spokesperson for a leading chair manufacturer explained that, while their products are designed to be durable and long-lasting, they are not intended for use as projectiles.

“We want our customers to get the most out of their office chairs, but we definitely don’t recommend throwing them out of moving vehicles,” the spokesperson said. “That’s just common sense.”

Of course, this incident raises a lot of questions. Why was an office chair on the highway in the first place? Was it part of a new form of extreme sports? Did somebody just really need to get rid of their old office furniture and decided that throwing it out of a moving car was the best course of action?

At this point, there are more questions than answers. All we know is that for one Utah family, the commute home turned into a real life game of dodgeball. Next time you’re stuck in traffic, keep your eyes on the road and your head on a swivel. You never know when an office chair might come barreling towards you.
