Great Wall of China Breached Yet Again, This Time by Construction Workers
In a shocking turn of events, the Great Wall of China has been breached yet again. This time, it wasn’t the mighty army of Genghis Khan or the fierce Manchu warriors. No, it was allegedly two construction workers named Zheng and Wang who were looking for a shortcut.
Yes, you read that right. Two construction workers, armed with nothing more than their hard hats and a can-do attitude, have managed to breach one of the most iconic and historic landmarks in the world. Move over, Genghis Khan. These guys mean business.
According to eyewitnesses, Zheng and Wang were working on a nearby construction site when they realized that they had left their lunchboxes on the other side of the wall. Rather than going around, they decided to take matters into their own hands and breach the wall.
Their methods were crude but effective. Using a hammer and a chisel, they managed to create a hole large enough for them to squeeze through. Once on the other side, they retrieved their lunchboxes and promptly returned to work, completely unfazed by the fact that they had just breached a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Of course, the Chinese government isn’t taking this breach lightly. Officials have launched an investigation and are considering pressing charges against Zheng and Wang. In the meantime, they have also announced that they will be increasing security measures at the Great Wall to prevent any further breaches.
