In a thrilling turn of events, guests at a Wisconsin hotel got more than they bargained for when they found not one, but two snakes taking a refreshing dip in the hotel pool and hot tub.
“Wow, talk about a unique amenity,” said one guest, clearly thrilled to have encountered these slithering serpents. “I never thought I’d see a live reptile up close and personal like this,” they added, already planning their next trip to the hotel.
But not everyone was quite so excited by this unexpected addition to their vacation. Some guests reportedly felt the snakes were becoming a little too comfortable with their surroundings, with a few even suggesting they had witnessed the snakes attempting to order drinks at the swim-up bar.
“I don’t know about you, but the last time I checked, snakes weren’t exactly known for their pool etiquette,” said one disgruntled guest, clearly unimpressed by the reptile’s behavior. “I mean, I’m all for being inclusive, but this is just ridiculous,” they added, shaking their head in disbelief.
In response to the uproar caused by the snakes, the hotel management attempted to play down the incident. “Oh, those snakes are harmless,” they said with a dismissive wave of their hand. “They won’t hurt you unless you provoke them.”

It remains unclear whether the snakes were successfully relocated to another part of the property, or whether they simply slithered off into the night to find a new swimming spot.
